Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to prompts, generated videos, audio, images, and use of Very Chinese Time. Do not request, create, or distribute prohibited content through the service, including content made with fictional or AI-generated characters.

Content standards and prohibited categories

  • Sexual / NSFW content: pornography, nudity, explicit sexual acts, fetish content, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • Violent or gory content: depictions of violence, graphic injury, bloodshed, torture, mutilation, animal cruelty, or content that threatens, promotes, or glorifies harm.
  • Hate speech: content attacking, dehumanizing, threatening, or encouraging discrimination or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or another protected characteristic.
  • Child sexual abuse and endangerment: any content sexualizing a minor or someone presented as a minor, child sexual abuse material (including synthetic material), grooming, exploitation, or content that encourages or depicts abuse or endangerment of children. This prohibition applies regardless of claimed consent or fictional context.
  • Deepfakes and real-person impersonation: realistic or misleading depictions, voice imitation, or identity substitution impersonating a real person; fabricated endorsements or statements; and content intended to deceive viewers about a person’s identity or actions.
  • Copyright and trademark infringement: content that infringes copyright, trademarks, publicity, privacy, or other rights. Do not copy protected works without authorization or a lawful basis, impersonate brands, or suggest endorsement by a rights holder. Our supplied character reference and fan-made status do not grant third-party rights.

Fraud, harassment, illegal activity, abuse of free credits, evasion of safeguards, and unauthorized access are also prohibited. Review generated content before sharing it; an output being successfully generated does not mean it complies with this policy.

Report a video or send feedback

Use “Feedback or report” beside a completed video or in My creations, or email [email protected] with the subject “Content report.” You do not need an account to email a report.

Include the video URL or generation ID, the relevant category, a short explanation, timestamps if useful, and an email address where we can follow up. For copyright or trademark reports, identify the protected work or mark, your relationship to its owner, and the allegedly infringing material.

Do not download, attach, or redistribute suspected child sexual abuse material or other illegal imagery. Supply a URL or identifier and a text description instead. If someone faces immediate danger, contact the relevant emergency services; this mailbox is not an emergency service.

Signed-in users can submit feedback directly from a completed video. Reports are saved with your account, generation ID, category, message, and review status. A confirmation reference appears after a successful submission. To report someone else’s video or report without signing in, email the address above.

Automated checks and report review

We screen the complete generation prompt with Waffo’s Prompt Screening API before calling the video model. Explicit block or review verdicts stop generation and return reserved credits. If the Waffo request fails, times out or returns an invalid response, generation may continue without a completed Waffo safety verdict. These failures are logged and recorded in private task metadata as exceptions, not as safety approvals. We also use WaveSpeedAI’s Molmo2 Text Content Moderator before video generation and Molmo2 Video Content Moderator before releasing newly generated videos. These checks screen for sexual/NSFW content, sexual content involving minors, harassment, hate, and violence. Flagged content is blocked and reserved credits are returned. If a supplementary Molmo2 check fails, times out, or returns an invalid result, generation or release may continue, provided Waffo has not explicitly blocked the prompt or required review. These exceptions are recorded internally and are not treated as a passing safety assessment. Automated checks can make mistakes and do not establish copyright ownership or permission; reporting and human review remain available.

Our team reviews reports manually. We assess the identified video, relevant generation context, and the reported rule, and may ask for additional details. Reports involving minors, credible threats, or non-consensual intimate content receive priority. We may temporarily restrict access to reported content while reviewing it.

Review outcomes may include no violation found, a request for more information, or enforcement. We communicate the outcome to the reporter and, where appropriate, the affected account holder, subject to privacy, security, and legal limits. We do not promise that every generation is manually reviewed before delivery, or that provider safeguards detect every violation.

Enforcement and appeals

Depending on severity, evidence, and repeat behavior, we may issue a warning, remove or disable access to content, restrict generation, suspend or terminate an account, or revoke promotional credits obtained through abuse. Severe violations may result in immediate action without a prior warning. Enforcement does not remove statutory refund rights; paid-credit and refund handling remains subject to our Terms and applicable law.

We may preserve relevant evidence and cooperate with authorities where required by law. We do not disclose reporter contact details to another user except where legally required.

To appeal, email [email protected] with the generation ID or account reference, the action being challenged, and your explanation. Our team will reconsider the decision using the information supplied and communicate the outcome. Do not submit abusive or knowingly false reports.

Report information is handled under our Privacy Policy.
